Jennifer Schomburg and Scott Stewart Join MHCP Leadership Council
The Milwaukee Health Care Partnership’s (MHCP) Leadership Council was recently joined by new members Jennifer Schomburg, President, Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, President, Aurora Metro Milwaukee Group, Aurora Health Care, and Scott Steward, Chief Executive Officer, Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association.
The MHCP Leadership Council is the oversight body of the MHCP consortium, responsible for the input, approval, and monitoring of the MHCP plan priorities and activities and the consortium policies, procedures, membership, and structure. Its members include the senior-most executives of the four Milwaukee-based health systems, the Medical College of Wisconsin, the five Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and state, county, and city health agency directors. Jennifer Schomburg is President of Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and oversees Aurora Health Care’s Metro Milwaukee Area. Her role includes oversight of Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore and all of Aurora’s ambulatory surgery centers in Greater Milwaukee. Schomburg joined Aurora Health Care in July 2024 and has more than 20 years of experience in health care administration.
Most recently, she served as one of the presidents within the Northwest Region of Common Spirit Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH). Prior to that, Schomburg held numerous leadership roles in health systems across the Southwest. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Central Methodist College and Master of Health Administration and Master of Philosophy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Scott Stewart currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association, supporting Wisconsin’s 19 community health centers. In addition, he shares his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at Rochester Christian University. Most recently, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Honor Community Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Oakland County, Michigan, where he led the development of innovative projects and ensured the organization’s long-term sustainability.
Throughout his career, Scott Stewart’s guiding light has consistently been driven by a commitment to improving lives.
His work centers on ensuring that every individual has the resources they need not only to survive but to thrive. Scott’s passion is realized through his efforts to foster collaboration across sectors to address complex issues.
