Support and Promote the MHCP/United Way Mental Health Improvement Fund
The Mental Health Improvement Fund is a designated giving option as part of the 2025 United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County (United Way) annual campaign. Launched by the health system members of the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership (MHCP) – Ascension Wisconsin, Aurora Health Care, Children’s Wisconsin, and Froedtert ThedaCare Health – and the United Way, the fund plays a critical role in working towards the shared goal of improving access to mental health services in Milwaukee County.
Funds secured during the 2025 campaign are granted out in the spring of 2026. The Mental Health Improvement Fund supports non-profit organizations that provide mental and behavioral health care services for low-income, underserved people of all ages in Milwaukee County. This could include activities such as increasing access to mental health outpatient services (diagnostic or treatment) or improving care coordination for adults, children, and families needing mental health services.

And please consider directing some or all of your United Way pledge to the Mental Health Improvement Fund and promoting the fund as part of your organization’s employee campaign or with vendor partners, external colleagues, or friends.
